Required Paperwork (If Available)
There is a significant amount of paperwork that you will need to collect. Such things as documents, permits, receipts, agreements and many more forms. They contain important information that a buyer will want, and in many cases need to know.
Some information such as a site plan or floor plan you may not have. If you do not, it is something that you can order from the city or other organizations. Speak with your real estate agent and they will be able to help you.
Some buyers may request to see utility bills for the past 6 months to a year. Many believe that this will allow them to forecast the costs of these utilities. While it is not mandatory, the more information you can provide the more at ease some buyers will be.
Details About Your House
Buyers will want to know as much as they can about the house itself. This includes such things as the age of the house, roof, windows, furnace, etc.
If you use a company to maintain your pool or your lawn, you should provide their name and contact information as well. Include the last time these items were serviced.
